Thomas R Tavella, FASLA, LEED-AP
President

Tom has more than 25 years of experience in land use planning, landscape architecture and urban design. Throughout his career, he has managed a diverse portfolio of award-winning projects across the nation. Even before LEED and sustainable design were common practice, Tom’s projects consistently embraced these philosophies and technologies. From industrial greening projects to incorporating pervious pavements, biofiltration swales and urban rain gardens, Tom has been recognized as a leader and advocate for sustainable design and planning. Tom has also dedicated much of his time to advancing the profession of Landscape Architecture. He has served as Vice President of Communications for the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), as both President and Trustee for the Connecticut ASLA chapter and has taught classes at the New York Botanic Garden and Southern Connecticut State University.
